• The Available setting is ignored when used as a template. Display Parts are included in the Template list if the Query Template box is checked.
• The Title and Subtitle settings are ignored when used as a template. CATSWeb automatically inserts a Title and Subtitle as needed to describe the query results.
• The View Full Page Link setting is ignored when used as a template. Query results are always shown in full page view.
• The Subscribe Link setting (present only when the optional Subscriptions feature is installed) is ignored when used as a template. A Subscribe link will be included or not included, based on the user's Subscriptions permissions, just as it would be in a query results page with no chart or indicator.

Window Settings

• All settings in this section are utilized when used as a template.

Data Source and Similar Settings

• Data source settings are ignored when used as a template. You may specify any valid values (just so as to satisfy CATSWeb's field validation process for the display part form).
• Similar data-related settings in other sections related to Data Fields, Value Label Replacements, etc. are also ignored. Note that CATSWeb will create its own Value Label Replacements at runtime, as needed, based on the user's particular query. For example, if the user creates a query with a Summary Chart based on a signature control field, CATSWeb will automatically replace the numeric data values with "Signatures Not Requested", "Signatures Requested" and "Signatures Completed".

Chart Type, Size, Style, Colors and Similar Presentation Settings

• CATSWeb will utilize all of these settings when used as a template.

Data Pane Settings

• The Initial Data setting is ignored, and the Include in Results setting in the query is used in its place.
• The Drill Down Available setting is utilized in templates for Chart Display Parts, but ignored in templates for Indicator Display Parts (drill down is not needed or allowed for Indicator Display Parts).
• The Drill Down Data Link setting is utilized, but it should typically be cleared to allow the user to see the query results they drill down on.
• The Legend setting is ignored, since legends are only applicable to filters and not queries.
• The Link Fields, Link to URLs and URL Parameter Replacement settings are all utilized, although these are typically not required since the record IDs are automatically links in query result tables.

No Data Message Settings

• CATSWeb will utilize all of these settings when used as a template.

Window Button Settings

• CATSWeb will utilize all of these settings when used as a template.
